Gall bladder is a small , pear shaped sac in the right upper abdomen. Gall stones are small pebble like substances that develops in the gall bladder. gall stones are mainly made of cholesterol. Most people go unnoticed because of no symptoms but most common symptoms are fever and pain.
CAUSES:
- When liver produces more cholesterol than the bile can dissolve, this extra cholesterol pile up to form small crystals which turn into stones after some time.
- Bile may become very concentrated, contributing to the formation of gallstones if the gall bladder does not get empties properly.
SYMPTOMS:
Gall stones move into bile duct and create blockage and one or more symptoms appear. Most people do not experience any kind of symptoms but some common symptoms are:
