Dengue is a viral infection caused by the dengue virus (DENV), which is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected Aedes mosquitoes, primarily Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. Dengue is prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions and can lead to a wide spectrum of symptoms, ranging from mild flu-like illness to severe forms such as dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) or dengue shock syndrome (DSS), which can be life-threatening.

Symptoms of Dengue

  • How to Use: Drink fresh guava juice or eat guava fruit to strengthen the immune system during dengue recovery.

7. Barley Grass

  • Benefit: Barley grass can help in improving platelet count and boosting overall immunity.
  • How to Use: Barley grass juice or powder can be consumed in smoothies or mixed with water.

8. Turmeric

  • Benefit: Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory and can help boost immunity.
  • How to Use: Add turmeric powder to warm milk and consume before bedtime to support recovery.
