INTRODUCTION:

Giloy is a deciduous, climbing shrub that belongs to the Menispermaceae family. It is predominantly found in the tropical regions of India, as well as other parts of Southeast Asia. This herb is characterized by heart-shaped leaves and aerial roots, which give it a distinct appearance.
