Obstructive sleep apnea is a sleep and breathing related disease. It is also called breathing disorder. In this disease, your breathing stops repeatedly while sleeping and then start again. Many times your breathing may stop while sleeping. You don’t even know about it. This problem of respiratory arrest can last from 10 seconds to 1 minute. This can happen on an average 5 times in an hour.

Home remedies for Obstructive sleep apnea
Honey
It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties that can provide throat soothing benefits in sleep apnea patients.
Before bed, drink I glass of lukewarm water and add one teaspoon of raw honey.
Almonds
It helps in relaxing the muscles and in promoting good sleep. Eat 5-6 soaked almonds every day, this helps in preventing obstructive sleep apnea.
Cinnamon
Sedative property in cinnamon helps in treating breathing problem and helps in sleeping better. Add a teaspoon of cinnamon powder to a cut of hot water and rink this once a day.
Turmeric milk
Add half tablespoon of turmeric in boiling milk and keep then boiling in few minutes. Have this half an hour before going bed. It helps to treat obstructive sleep apnea effectively.
Pippermint
Add few drops of peppermint oil into a glass of water and then gargle using this water before going to bed. It enhances proper breathing as well as sleep.
Chamomile tea
It has anti-inflammatory properties. It helps relax the muscles and enhance sleep. Add some dried chamomile leaves to hot boiling water. Strain it and then drink it before going to bed
